Peabody Energy (NYSE: BTU) Declares Dividend of $0.15 Per Share

The board of directors of Peabody Energy today declared a regular quarterly dividend on its common stock of $0.15 per share. The dividend is payable on March 1, 2005, to holders of record on Feb. 8, 2005.

Peabody Energy is the world's largest private-sector coal company. Its coal products fuel more than 10 percent of all U.S. electricity and more than 2.5 percent of worldwide electricity.
