The FutureGen Industrial Alliance has released the draft Request for Proposals (RFP) for the FutureGen facility host site. FutureGen will be the world's first coal-fueled "zero emissions" power plant.

The draft RFP is being released to provide potential offerors and other stakeholders the opportunity to provide the FutureGen Alliance with comments prior to the release of the final RFP. Comments are being accepted on the draft RFP through midnight (Eastern Standard Time) February 28, 2006. The draft RFP is available for downloading from the Alliance's website at http://www.futuregenalliance.org/ . Additional details on the site selection process, including the timeframe for release of final RFP and submittal of proposals are contained in the draft RFP.
