A wire service report from Sydney this morning incorrectly stated that Peabody had settled Japanese thermal coal contracts for the upcoming fiscal year at $68 per tonne.

In fact, recent Japanese thermal coal settlements by Peabody relate to current fiscal year contracts that were still unpriced. Peabody has settled no Japanese thermal coal contracts, with negotiations ongoing.
